1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TravBuddy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of TravBuddy.

2. Description of Service

TravBuddy is an AI-powered travel planning application that:

  • Identifies locations from Instagram reels you submit.
  • Generates day plans and multi-day trip itineraries based on those locations.
  • Allows you to browse and remix trip plans created by other users.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. TravBuddy does not make or facilitate bookings, reservations, or purchases on your behalf. Any bookings are your own responsibility.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TravBuddy. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or allow others to access it.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at gettravbuddy@gmail.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use TravBuddy for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Submit content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of TravBuddy.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service.
  • Submit reels or content without the right to do so.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

Our content: TravBuddy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TravBuddy and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your content: You retain ownership of the reels you submit and the plans you create. By submitting content, you grant TravBuddy a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

Trip plans and itineraries generated by TravBuddy are produced by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated plans. Always verify travel information independently before making decisions. TravBuddy is not responsible for any losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

8. Third-Party Content

TravBuddy processes Instagram reels submitted by you. We are not affiliated with Meta Platforms / Instagram. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any reel to TravBuddy. TravBuddy does not store raw reel video content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVBUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to TravBuddy at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
